1. Provider and contacts
The website and the Aliv@ service are provided by Purposeful Revelations S.r.l., registered office at Via Ammiraglio Caracciolo 22, 76012 Canosa di Puglia (BT), Italy, tax code and VAT no. 08518240729, registered with the Companies Register under REA BA 632106, hereinafter “Purposeful”.

2. Scope and definitions
These Terms govern browsing on ialive.it, registration, access to and use of Aliv@, including reserved areas, functions, applications, APIs and documentation.
- Client: the person or organisation that activates or purchases a Plan.
- User: the natural person authorised to use the Service.
- Plan: the set of functions, limits, duration and economic conditions shown before activation or stated in the order.
- Input: requests, instructions, prompts, documents, data and other materials entered into the Service.
- Output: responses, analyses, summaries, drafts, extractions and other results produced by the Service.
- Client Data: Inputs, Outputs, matters, conversations and metadata relating to the Client or uploaded on its behalf.
In the event of conflict, the following order of precedence applies: individual offer or order, data processing agreement, any service-level agreement, these Terms, Plan description and Service documentation.
3. Eligible users, age and authority
Aliv@ may be used by consumers, professionals, firms, companies and public or private entities. You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to enter into the contract. If you act for an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it and manage its Users.
Clauses expressly referring to consumers apply only to natural persons acting outside their business, commercial, craft or professional activity. Clauses referring to professional Clients apply in the other cases.
4. Registration and formation of the contract
You may register with name, surname, email and password or, where available, through Google sign-in. You must provide accurate data and keep it updated. Before activation or purchase you may correct your data and consult, download and retain these Terms.
The contract is concluded when you receive activation or order confirmation. Purposeful keeps evidence of the accepted version, date, Account and technical events necessary to demonstrate conclusion of the contract.
Registration does not automatically grant access to every function. Purposeful may verify identity, email address, professional qualification or representative authority where necessary for security, law or Plan features.
5. Account and security
- Credentials are personal. You may not share them or allow unauthorised persons to use the Account.
- You must choose an appropriate password, protect devices and remove access for Users who no longer work with your organisation.
- You must promptly notify connect@ialive.it of unusual access, loss of credentials or suspected compromise.
- The Client manages its Users and is responsible for activity carried out with credentials under its control, except to the extent caused by vulnerabilities or conduct attributable to Purposeful.
6. Description of the Service
Aliv@ supports legal research, consultation, organisation, analysis and drafting. Depending on the Plan, it may provide:
- interaction with a multi-agent system specialised in different areas of law;
- access to knowledge bases containing case law, legislation, manuals and forms;
- responses indicating available sources;
- creation and management of conversations and matters;
- uploading, indexing, semantic search, summarisation and analysis of documents;
- management of cited sources and, where enabled, deadlines and other work information;
- generation of drafts, outlines, comparisons and structured extractions.
The functions actually included, usage limits, legal areas, supported formats and any support are those stated in the Plan or offer. Experimental or beta functions may change and are identified as such.
7. Artificial intelligence and duty to verify
The Service uses generative AI models and retrieval systems augmented with documentary sources. Generation is probabilistic. Identical or similar requests may produce different Outputs.

Outputs may contain errors, omissions, superseded law, inaccurate or non-existent citations, partial reconstructions, disputed interpretations or irrelevant data. They may also be affected by Input quality, scanning, format and completeness of attachments.
Before communicating, signing, filing or using an Output for a decision, you must at least verify:
- the text and current validity of official sources;
- the existence, content and relevance of cited decisions;
- jurisdiction, venue, procedure, time limits and admissibility requirements;
- facts, documents, calculations, personal data and party references;
- consistency with the mandate, professional rules and the recipient’s interests.
Aliv@ is an assistance tool. Purposeful does not accept a professional engagement, does not represent the User or their client and does not guarantee the outcome of proceedings, negotiations or decisions.
8. User obligations and prohibited uses
You must use the Service in accordance with law, these Terms, applicable professional rules and third-party rights. You may not:
- upload data or documents without a legal basis, authority or right to do so;
- use Outputs without adequate verification to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on people;
- knowingly present false, misleading or unverified Outputs as official sources;
- perform reserved professional activities without the required qualification;
- infringe confidentiality, copyright, database rights, privacy or other rights;
- create malware, perform unauthorised access or security testing, scans, interference or circumvention of technical limits;
- systematically extract the Service or knowledge bases, reconstruct models, reverse engineer beyond legal limits or use the Service to train competing products;
- resell, sublicense or make the Service available to third parties without written authorisation.
9. Inputs, matters and third-party data
You retain rights in your Inputs. You grant Purposeful a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transform, index and process Inputs only to the extent necessary to provide, protect and support the Service, comply with law and enforce contractual rights.
If you upload personal data, special-category data or data relating to criminal convictions and offences, you must have an appropriate legal basis, comply with data minimisation, transparency and security and provide the instructions required by the data processing agreement. For professional use, the Article 28 GDPR agreement supplements these Terms.
Purposeful does not use Inputs, documents or Outputs to train general models for other clients. Any future content-based improvement programme would require a separate, specific choice that can be withdrawn for the future.
10. Confidentiality
Purposeful treats Client Data as confidential, limits access to authorised persons bound by confidentiality and uses it only for contractual purposes. This obligation does not apply to information that becomes public without breach, was already lawfully known, is lawfully received from third parties or must be disclosed by law. Where permitted, Purposeful informs the Client before mandatory disclosure.
11. Intellectual property
Purposeful and its licensors retain all rights in the software, interface, trademarks, documentation, configurations, system prompts, processing and Service databases. The licence granted to the Client is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable, for the duration of the contract and within the Plan limits.
As between Purposeful and the Client, the Client may use Outputs generated for its Account to the extent permitted by law and subject to third-party rights. Outputs may not qualify for exclusive protection. The Service may produce identical or similar results for other users.
12. Third-party sources and services
The Service uses cloud infrastructure, AI models, authentication services and third-party documentary sources. Third-party content remains subject to the relevant rights and conditions. Purposeful may replace a provider where this does not materially reduce purchased security or functions. Personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and data processing agreement.
13. Plans, prices and payments
Price, VAT, duration, limits, number of Users, billing frequency and any free trial are shown before ordering or stated in the offer. Payment is made through the methods available in the procedure. Any payment processor handles data under its own privacy notice.
In case of non-payment, Purposeful sends a reminder and allows at least 10 days to cure, except in case of fraud, abuse or a concrete security risk.
14. Duration, renewal and cancellation
The Plan duration is shown before activation. Automatic renewal applies only where clearly stated and accepted. Purposeful gives notice of the next renewal and price at least 30 days in advance for annual Plans and at least 7 days for monthly Plans.
You may disable renewal from the Account or by writing to connect@ialive.it. Deactivation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Price increases apply from the next renewal and are communicated at least 30 days in advance.
15. Consumer right of withdrawal
A consumer may withdraw from a paid Plan within 14 days of conclusion without giving reasons, by sending an explicit statement to Purposeful, including by using the form at the end of this page.
If the consumer asks for immediate activation during the withdrawal period, on withdrawal they pay only the proportionate amount for the service already supplied where required by law. Any loss of the right after full performance requires an express request and separate acknowledgement where required by applicable law.
16. Availability, maintenance and support
Purposeful provides the Service with professional diligence and adopts reasonable continuity and security measures. The Service may be affected by maintenance, updates, network interruptions or unavailability of external components. Scheduled maintenance is communicated with reasonable notice; urgent maintenance may occur without notice.
Any guaranteed availability, support, backup or recovery levels are stated in the Plan or a specific agreement. Without a specific agreement, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
17. Changes to the Service or Terms
Purposeful may make non-material changes by publication. Material changes to functions, prices, rights or obligations are communicated at least 30 days in advance. Essential functions will not be reduced during a paid period except for legal, security or technical requirements that cannot reasonably be avoided.
If a change has a materially negative effect, you may terminate before it takes effect and receive a refund of any unused prepaid portion. Consumers retain all mandatory rights relating to digital services.
18. Suspension and termination
Purposeful may suspend an Account to the extent necessary in case of security or integrity risk, unlawful use, material breach, authority order or non-payment. Where possible it explains the reason and allows 15 days to remedy. Suspension may be immediate where delay would increase the risk.
Either party may terminate the contract if a material breach is not remedied within 15 days after notice. Purposeful may terminate immediately in case of fraud, unauthorised access, serious security breach, knowing upload of unlawful content or repeated circumvention of limits.
After termination, the Client has 30 days to request export in the available formats unless prohibited by law or a concrete risk. Deletion then follows the Privacy Policy and data processing agreement.
19. Warranties and conformity
For paid Plans, Purposeful warrants that the Service will operate substantially in accordance with the documentation. The first remedy is restoration within a reasonable time. If a material defect cannot be remedied, you may terminate the affected part and receive a refund of the remaining prepaid amount.
Consumers benefit from the statutory conformity guarantee for digital services and mandatory remedies, including restoration, price reduction or termination in the cases provided by Italian consumer law.
20. Liability
Purposeful is liable for breach of its obligations in accordance with law. It is not liable for consequences caused by false or incomplete Inputs, prohibited use, failure to verify Outputs, autonomous User decisions or systems and connections under the Client’s control, to the extent those circumstances caused or aggravated the damage.
For professional Clients, except for wilful misconduct, gross negligence and non-limitable liability, Purposeful’s aggregate liability for direct damages connected with the contract does not exceed the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the event; for free Plans the limit is EUR 500. Within the same limits, loss of profit and indirect damages that were not reasonably foreseeable are excluded.
These limits do not apply to death or personal injury attributable to Purposeful, intentional or grossly negligent confidentiality breaches, mandatory liability relating to personal data or intellectual property, or other cases that may not be limited by law. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies remain fully applicable.
21. Indemnity by professional Clients
The professional Client indemnifies Purposeful against third-party claims arising from unlawful Inputs, lack of necessary rights or material breach of these Terms in the use of the Service, to the extent attributable to the Client. Purposeful promptly informs the Client and allows reasonable participation in the defence. The indemnity does not apply to facts attributable to Purposeful.
22. Force majeure
A party prevented by events outside its reasonable control informs the other party and takes proportionate measures to limit their effects. Relief applies only for the duration and extent of the impediment. If it continues for more than 60 days, either party may terminate the affected service; Purposeful refunds the prepaid portion relating to the unused period.
23. Communications
Operational communications may be sent to the address associated with the Account or shown in the Service. Complaints, withdrawals and legal communications may be sent to connect@ialive.it or to the certified email address purposefulrevelationssrl@pec.it. You must keep your address updated.
24. Governing law and disputes
The contract is governed by Italian law.
For professional Clients, the Court of Milan has exclusive jurisdiction. For consumers, jurisdiction lies with the court of the place of residence or domicile as provided by law. Any mandatory procedures applicable to the individual dispute remain unaffected.
25. Final clauses
The invalidity of any clause does not affect the others. Failure to act on a breach is not a waiver. The Client may not assign the contract without written consent; Purposeful may assign it as part of reorganisations or business transfers without reducing the Client’s rights. Clauses on confidentiality, property, liability, payments and disputes survive termination where necessary.
26. Specific approval by professional Clients
During registration or ordering, the professional Client must separately approve, pursuant to Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code, clauses: 5 Account and security; 7 Artificial intelligence and duty to verify; 8 User obligations and prohibited uses; 11 Intellectual property; 13 Plans, prices and payments; 14 Duration and renewal; 16 Availability; 17 Changes; 18 Suspension and termination; 20 Liability; 21 Indemnity; 22 Force majeure; 24 Governing law and disputes; 25 Assignment and final clauses.
